Google is testing a brand new SERPs feature termed as “highly rated” for its Local Services ads or LSAs. Inserting local enterprise queries into the search engine would reveal the feature under test. A sponsored box exhibiting a number of the top reviewed LSAs within given verticals is generated.
The promoted ads come along with a thumbnail graphic, reviews, opening hours, service duration and service areas. In addition, a simple call button is also appended, making contacting the organisation straightforward for the user.
Google‘s recommendation and theof ‘highly rated’ can potentially stimulate public trust in your business. This endorsement could provide a boost to potential customers’ confidence, propelling them towards contact and eventual purchase. This new feature, which is currently under experimentation, was initially noticed by Anthony Higman, Chief Executive Officer of a web-based advertising firm. A preview was shared by him revealing the feature’s existence.
Several advertisers have noted the occurrence of this feature in selected verticals. Google has, however, confirmed that it is currently only an experiment. Depending on the feature’s reception and overall performance, thecould potentially be extended to all advertisers at a future point or possibly be abandoned.
